What is new with J.R. 129/11te Kompanie?
Over the winter we lost Musketier Freienstein, a dear friend to many of our members. He will be missed. The spring 2018 GWA event saw Hein, Deks, Eblen, Liechti, Lockhart, Gross and Bonikowski in attendance. More work was completed on both the bunker and our trench lines. A good time was had by all who came!
*In 2017 work continued on our bunker. The spring event was a success. Early in August, Sgt Hein and Deks added much to our bunker. The fall event was a great success! We added a porch to the bunker and began the process of fortifying our new trench positions.
*In 2016 we started construction of a new bunker to replace our cramped and dilapidated bunker. When completed, our new bunker will have more bunks, a large stove and a table.
*In 2015 we gained a new member associate Musketier Nicholas Lockhart.
*In 2014 Elfte Kompanie gained two new associate members, Musketiers Liechti and Bonikowski
*Elfte Kompanie looks to have nine soldaten at the April 2013 Tactical Event at the Caesar Krauss Great War Memorial Site in Newville, Pennsylvania. This will include two new associate members, Musketiers Lewinski and Schaaf.
* Seven Unit Members and two new members attended the November 2012 Tactical Event at the Caesar Krauss Great War Memorial Site in Newville, Pennsylvania. Planning continues for building the Danziger Hof, which should begin in the summer of 2013.
* Six of our members were able to attend the Spring 2012 tactical event at the Caesar Krauss Great War Memorial Site in Newville, Pennsylvania. Musketier Freinstein made the long drive from west of the Rockies while Musketier Koppelmann headed up from the Sunny South. Sgt. Cassel, Gefreiter Hein, and Musketiers Deksheimer and Garringer all made the trip from Ohio.
